Here are a few of the best walking neighborhoods that you will find in Los Angeles.

Downtown -This is the second largest city in the United States and the business hub of the West Coast. Grand Avenue will take you by the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Music Center, Culburn School of Performing Arts and the Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels.
Chinatown -Since 1930 this has been one of L.A.’s favorite destinations. With sights and sounds that are familiar and unfamiliar, the mix of old and new buildings create a unique experience. Featuring gateways into the area at either end, this neighborhood is well defined and you will find it well ornamented.
El Pueblo -You will find a rich history in this area dating back to its beginnings in 1781. Avila Adobe the oldest house in L.A. still standing built in 1818, is a unique feature to this neighborhood. And a Mexican marketplace adds color to Olvera Street.
Fashion District -90 blocks of retail and wholesale shopping await you on this walking tour! Santee Alley is the most famous part of the Fashion District, with an open air market you are bound to find a deal. The Flower Market and Textile Area are great as well.
Historic Downtown -This area is full of early 20th century architecture. Broadway is the home to the most movie palaces in the world, with major historical theaters in the mix. Spring Street offers the most standing Beaux Arts buildings in one place in the world. The Bradbury building, home to the first glass ceiling is a must see on this walk as well.
